The SYTA Youth Foundation is actively seeking candidates for the prestigious Visionary Award. This annual award recognizes an individual that demonstrates a commitment to enriching students’ lives through travel and/or contributing to the advancement of our industry through education, volunteer activities or community service.

The SYTA Youth Foundation Board of Trustees will receive the nominations by Friday, June 23, 2023 and announce the winner at the 2 023 SYTA Annual Conference’s SYTA Youth Foundation Luncheon on Sunday, August 20 in Winnipeg, MB, Canada.

Please find the Visionary Award Application below. Using the following guidelines, please answer the questions explaining why the nominee should be considered as a recipient of the Visionary Award.

To be considered for this award, nominees must demonstrate excellence in at least two of the following areas:

• An educator or teacher committed to enriching students' lives through travel
• Contribution(s) from a volunteer perspective or financial commitment
• Volunteer work and/or community service with youth throughout the year (disabled, at risk, low income, or
some other disadvantage that would need assistance)
• Contribution(s) to student & youth travel and tourism
