SYTA Youth Foundation Golf Classic Gets Special Guest

Former NBA Player Bo Outlaw to Appear at the SYF Golf Classic

WASHINGTON, D.C., August 2, 2016 – The SYTA Youth Foundation (SYF) is pleased to announce that former NBA player, Bo Outlaw, will appear at the SYF Golf Classic, August 18, 2016 at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes, which takes place during the Student & Youth Travel Association Annual Conference. Outlaw serves as a Community Ambassador for the Orlando Magic.

Outlaw played six-plus seasons with the Orlando Magic from 1997-2001 and 2005-2007. He appeared in 22 career playoff outings. Outlaw was awarded the Rich & Helen DeVos Community Enrichment Award three times—an award that honors a player for outstanding community service.

Golf Classic registration is still available and may be purchased online. The registration fee includes pairings party, round-trip transportation from the Rosen Shingle Creek, golf club rentals, greens fees, breakfast and the annual awards luncheon. All proceeds support the SYTA Youth Foundation.
